I Love the Internet - fall 2011

Final Project for Video II|. Mockumentary.

Ryan is a twenty-two year old boy with a love for technology, however his love is an addiction. The film is presented to the audience spliced between a video diary and mockumentary style. After initially struggling to accept that his addiction has become too intense, he will have to decide how to recalibrate his lifestyle or else abandon it all together.

Goatse Roulette - fall 2011

Project for a Fluxus / Chance show at Mason Gross Rutgers University. Meant to play as a loop installation.

I find that using the anonymousness of the Internet to connect with one another brings forth both a security as well as vulnerability. In a world where you're completely behind a glass wall, you are utterly open and visible to everyone. The beauty here is that these actors in my play are completely unaware, random and at chance. Using a 'popular' 2002 image of great shock-and-awe qualities and another popular Internet 'video-roulette' medium I detail a survey of chance reactions and aftermath.

Dear Dead - Spring 2011

For this piece I took inspiration from Tony Oursler. Talking to the dead through the use of technology. Using a new aesthetic, this was an experiment with choppy narrative, after effects and a specific visual motif.

Documentation of two video installations during the Fall/Spring 2010/ 2011 semesters at Mason Gross Rutgers.

My Life in New Brunswick (video) fall 2010

this video was a 3 channel installation to critique the unique attrbutes of New Brunswick New Jersey. On one end is a city wrapped with filth and wealth, on the other is an overcrowded college town, and in between lies crime, poverty and art.

Unknown Error spring 2011

This one channel installation is an attempt to continue a project I was working with based on research of Tony Oursler's work. I wanted to give the illusion that technology could or perhaps is, the gateway to the 'other side'.
